How we built Neuro: From insight to innovation.
Introduction

Most brain supplements promise quick fixes: a jolt of focus here, a spark of clarity there. But when we asked ourselves what the world really needed, the answer was clear. It wasn’t about chasing stimulation. It was about building long-term resilience and supporting brain health. That’s how Neuro began.

The insight – Why we created Neuro

In August 2024, we conducted a customer survey in Sweden with 1 000 people aged 40–75. The result was crystal clear: the number one concern about aging wasn’t wrinkles, joints, or energy – it was brain health and cognitive decline.

That became our starting point. Customers weren’t asking for hype or flashy blends. They wanted something that actually worked – a brain supplement with scientific grounding, clinical dosages, and long-term impact.

At the same time, this mission is deeply personal. Our founder, Mathias Lobendahl, has witnessed up close what cognitive decline can do to a family. That experience added urgency and conviction to what our customers had already told us: brain health had to be our next frontier.

The challenge – Building the world’s best brain supplement

With the success of Nexus behind us, expectations were high. And yes – there was some performance anxiety. But that only fueled us more: the goal was to create the world’s best brain supplement.

We started by mapping the global market. We analyzed every major formula – ingredients, amounts – and compared them with clinical studies. The pattern was obvious: many companies used ingredients with promising research, but in amounts too small to ever deliver an effect.

For us as a longevity company, that was unacceptable. Effect and experience always come first. If the dosage doesn’t match the studies, it doesn’t belong in our product.

The process – From research to reality

We went deep into the science. We read everything we could find on PubMed and other platforms, analyzing every ingredient with scientific backing. We chose those with the strongest evidence and the most studies – and we dosed them at the same levels used in clinical trials.

That decision had a consequence: we needed larger capsules than Nexus, and one additional capsule per daily serving to fit the effective amounts. But compromise was never an option.

The result was a formula built on:

  • Citicoline
  • Lion’s Mane
  • Bacopa monnieri
  • Turmeric extract
  • A complete active B-vitamin complex

No shortcuts, no blends, no underdosing.

The value – Premium yet accessible

Our survey also asked about price. Most expected around 300 SEK per month, but a significant share were willing to pay more for a truly effective brain supplement.

We set Neuro at 490 SEK on subscription – premium, but still accessible – by selling directly to our customers and cutting unnecessary middlemen.

That way, we could deliver what no one else offers: a clinically dosed, longevity-first brain supplement at a fair price.
